Mechanically Jointed Sliding Sash Windows
When only the very best will do our premium range of sliding sash windows are designed to recreate the timeless elegance of a traditional timber window in every way.
Our mechanically jointed sliding sash window features a unique joint, completely different to those 45 degree corner welds found on standard upvc sash windows. The mechanical joint is designed to perfectly mimic the mortice and tenon joint used in a traditional wooden sash window.
The mechanical joint was originally developed for use in upvc windows that were to be fitted in conservation areas and gives a maintenance free alternative to timber windows. They are the perfect window for customers who want the look and feel of a traditional wooden sliding sash window but without the hassle of on going maintenance.
As well as several woodgrain colours the beautiful woodgrain foiled finishes are available in a range of colours carefully chosen to replicate those traditionally used to paint sliding sash windows. Unlike paint though, these foiled finishes will never fade or peel so never require painting and will look as good as new for years to come.
As well as the mechanical joints these windows also include period hardware and heritage finishes such as deep bottom rails as standard.
With its classic styling and beautiful design our top of the range sliding sash windows will enhance any Manx property.
